Is it a good idea to go to IOA on Memorial day?

In case you didn't know, IOA = Universal Islands of Adventure. (Title was to long)

 

Anyway, A couple of my friends are going to visit my sister memorial day weekend, and one of our plans is to go to IOA. It would be a first time for all of us. The only problem is her husband has to work on the day we were planning to go. So now our only option is on Memorial day. So I have a 2 questions.

 

1. Is it a good idea to go to IOA on Memorial day?

2. If yes, what is the best route to go to get the majority of rides completed?

Buy an Express pass. It's going to be packed.

1. If you love theme parks and have the money, a park being crowded shouldn't stop you from going unless you have an option for another day.

 

2. I would just make sure to get there at opening and head straight for Hulk and Spiderman. And just in case, I do not know if this is an all time thing or just happened the two days I was there. The posted opening time was at 9 but they let everyone in at 8:45 with the rides open.

Oh, I had no idea it was opening on that day. The tv commercials were saying, it was opening on the 18th of June.

 

That makes it even better. My friends and sister wanted to go see that.

June 18th is the official opening, there's just rumors that it would be "soft opened" (open but not announced) by May 28th. No guarantees though, so don't go expecting it to be open.
