Story behind this....

Long ago, there were a species of magical snakes that would fly through the air, but close to the ground... The fabled "Sky Snakes". You could tell one of these creatures were near by the sound of jangling bells. It was rare that a Sky Snake would hold still long enough for one to climb on its back and ride it. They absolutely hated this! So, to confuse riders they would give the illusion that you were constantly in danger of falling out. They would cause one to become severely dizzy...

Well, here it is.

Ride design: A spinning coaster with trains similar to Sierra Sidewinder. With swooping hills that give some decent airtime There is one part of the ride that may give the illusion of being upside down...

Well I checked it out...

First I'll start with the name/theme. I personally dont think it fits the ride since snakes dont really spin. I think snakes that glide would work better as a flyer.

Building wise, it was a little bumpy but thats ok because the spinning made that hardly unnoticable. Now the transport track before the lift wasnt all that needed if you ask me. As well as transport devices on an incline on the brake run.

The excitement was there. It really picked up the pace towards the end.

Overall its a good layout but needs some technical work and NO PRE FAB SUPPORTS!!! lol

NO PRE FAB SUPPORTS!!! lol

Why not? They work, and that's why they're there. I personally am too lazy to take time to make my own.

I thought it was pretty good & so what if you used pre-fab supports? Once I get back into building I'll be using pre-fab elements as well as supports on my projects regardless of what anyone thinks since they're much easier to work with than doing everything completely by hand.

Im my, and probably alot of experienced nolimits users, opinion pre fabs only are suited for one coaster style in nolimits, any B&M coaster. To me, any other coaster that gets built with prefabs shows no effort to be true to that coaster and it looks unpratical.

^Even still I have to say they do not match B&M all that well. They are often too narrow, too thin and/or to the wrong side of the track. So really, I have to say the only time I would resort to using a pre fab support is on the brake run/station area, outside of that they just seem impractical for me. Just my thoughts though.

As to being "too lazy" to make new ones, I guess when I hear that I have to apply that to the entire coaster. I just have a hard time caring about one thing and then brushing another off. Plus, I kinda find support building to be fun!
