coasterfreak101
I just have two questions about the $45 parking passes that Six Flags offers: 1. If I already bought a parking ticket, can I upgrade at the gate? I'm assuming yes, but I just want to make sure. 2. What if the ticket I bought is for GAdv, and I'm going to America? The parking passes are good for all parks, so maybe? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm going to SFA tomorrow and SFGAdv on Monday, and I just learned that a season parking pass is good around the country, not just at my own Six Flags. I'm just a kid trying to save some money. Thanks!
larrygator
For which SF park do you have a season pass? The parking option can only be added the your season pass at the park where your season pass is issued since your parking status gets printed on your season pass. If your season pass is from SFA, I suggest you bring the SFGAdv parking ticket with you to SFA tomorrow and see if they can either cancel/refund that transaction or apply the cost of the parking ticket to your season pass. SharkTums
At SFMM I was able to buy the parking pass minus the $15 I had just paid for parking.
coasterfreak101
I went to SFA today. I had to buy parking, as they decided they couldn't take the SFGAdv parking pass (which I figured would happen). I did buy the season parking for the extra $30, and so now I figure I'll try to beg the GAdv guest relations to refund my one-day parking pass. sixflagsguy5
You shouldn't have had to pay for parking at Six Flags America. The parking passes are supposed to be valid at any Six Flags park with the exception of Kentucky Kingdom (which is no longer in operation). The person working the booth must have not known this. In the past two years I've gotten free parking at La Ronde, St. Louis, Magic Mountain, Over Texas, New England, and Great Adventure with my season pass parking. They changed this for the 2008 season (I think). I would suggest calling up guest relations at Six Flags America and ask them what their policy is on it. If you go back to the park this year they may refund you or if you write a formal letter they may reimburse you if you have a receipt. Worst case they won't refund you and you will have paid $15 to go to Six Flags America instead of paying full admission.
coasterfreak101
^I paid the $15 for parking at SFA, then upgraded for $30 for season parking, which did just get me into GAdv. But I still have a $15 parking ticket to GAdv that's useless now, and I was trying to think of any way to get rid of it. But I guess I'll just end up using it and losing out on the money, it's cool I suppose!
monsterfan99
Did they try scanning your pass? I know at SFOG last month my SF STL pass did not work due to it being from another park. It might just be a glitch for the parks that added scanning of cards for parking, as only a few had it last year.

dj snow
If ever you have an issue using your season parking pass at other Six Flags parks, just point out the back of the pass card, where it specifically states, "season parking passes may be used at other parks." This is the case for my season pass, and I suspect it is for every other Six Flags pass out there as well. Happy parking!
AndrewRnR
I hate to bring up a thread from a few weeks ago but I just want to confirm... the parking season pass is printed on your season pass? It is not a decal they put in the car? I ask because I will be road tripping up to SFA in a few weeks and plan on taking one car but will visit SFoG several times this season with a different car. In theory if the parking is printed on the pass as long as I'm driving it shouldn't matter what car... correct?
coasterfreak101
Correct. You just show them your season pass, which has 'Parking' printed next to your picture, and you're set!
