Heading down to Universal Florida after "IntimidaTour" in August this year and have found a one way fare with AirTrans for $78.00US from Richmond to Orlando.

 

Orlando To LAX for $110.00US.

 

Which seems to be a really good price, has anyone ever flown them?

Where there problems?

Good?

Bad?

 

Any reviews would be wonderful.

They are pretty average. Go for it, its only a 2 hour flight.

We've flown them, they were fine. No problem booking them for a short one way flight like that.

I've never had any problems with AirTran. Actually, I prefer flying them out of Atlanta whenever possible. You should have no worries.

I've flown with Airtran probably 10 to 15 times. I've had a lot better luck with them than with Delta, United, etc.

 

As far as discount airlines go, I prefer them over Southwest because you get an actual seat assignment.

I flew with AirTran once a couple months ago from Orlando back to Philadelphia. It was a very good flight. The plane was cleaner than any Southwest flight I have been on, and as ginzo said, you get a seat assignment unlike with Southwest.

 

Though, I still prefer Southwest because of the no charge for your bag.
