Random Denny's Story

So I'm at work today and we had a group of 18 people come in from the high school right by us. They run a program for high school students with disabilities, and every once in a while they come in for breakfast.

 

As they were eating, a man came up to me, and asked if it was one big group, one check, and I told him they were all together. He asked me to step aside, over by our counter seating, and told me he wanted to pay for their breakfast.

 

Just a random guy, he didn't know any of them, and he paid $145 for their breakfast just to be nice. And he told us to tell them it was from an anonymous person.

 

With all the crap that goes on in our world, this kind of guy gives me hope for humanity. To know there is still someone nice enough to do something like this for no reason other than gratitude...

 

I don't know if this was worthy of its own topic, but I just wanted to share that story with you guys.
