PaulMartz37 Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 A small B&M Floorless complete with a pre-lift drop, 4 classy inversions, and a water fly-by! This is my first coaster with all custom supports and a custom station. It's all handmade so there indeed are pumps and jerks. It's got some yellow Gs but they're there to make the ride more intense. Specs: Lift - 118' tall Drop - 115' tall Length - 2709.5' long Top Speed - 55 mph Inversions- 4 (vertical loop, dive loop, zero-g roll, dive loop) Trains - 3 Trains with 6 cars each Enjoy the track! monkeyoverlord71 Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 That was pretty good. Great layout with some nice elements. The loop felt a bit weird though. It was generally smooth but a little bit pumpy. Not bad pumpy just a little tiny bit here and there. The supports were nice and so was the station. I generally liked the area. It was an impressive ride and I hope to see more.
PaulMartz37 Posted June 19, 2009 Author Posted June 19, 2009 Thanks for the comments man The loop always felt weird to me and at the last minute I had to space out the entry & exit because they killed tunnel testing >.< I'll be sure to post more tracks when I complete them I'm working on a "spectacular spinning space adventure"
Leviathan Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 I can't comment on the ride since I don't have NL, but that scenery looks awesome, and I really like the shape of the station, it kind of reminds me of the Gwazi station, just without the dual loading, and the lion and tiger.
PaulMartz37 Posted June 21, 2009 Author Posted June 21, 2009 ^ OH man! That's actually what I was going for but there was no way I could've made those arches without object creator. So I opted for classic wooden beams - which took me forever and a half to finish.
DATman Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 ^Did you know that the tunnel test doesn't matter if the two pieces of track are on the same block? That is only in case two trains pass each other or there are supports in the way. As long as the track is far enough away that people's arms won't hit it, it doesn't matter if they pass the tunnel test.
PaulMartz37 Posted June 22, 2009 Author Posted June 22, 2009 ^ That's what I figured but I wanted to be safe
coastb2 Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 I really want to see a few pictures of the spectacular space spinning coaster.
PaulMartz37 Posted June 22, 2009 Author Posted June 22, 2009 ^ My extremely rough layout that has been on hold while I figure out how to use Newton. (Yes, it is launched.)
