andre8
When guests entered my land (not park), they always got stuck and have tired faces, is this normal?
Airtime&Gravity
Is this in a park you created or downloaded? When I first created a park, I remember I had the same problem, and it is because of the guest entry point. Go back to scenario editor, and replace the spawn point. If it is a park you downloaded, I don't know what to do, as I've had the same problem.
andre8
Yes, I created the park. And what is a "spawn point"?
COASTER FREAK 11
Its the point at which the gests enter the game from the map edge.
MrX8991
But the problem is not guests entering the park, it's the land. I had this problem constantly. The problem lies in the programming of how guests try to find the park exit. There was a nice diagram I found years ago that explained how to avoid the problem, but I forgot where I found it. The guests take any path that leads them in the direction of the park exit. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that it will lead them to the park exit. For example, if the park exit is down and to the left of where a guest is, but they reach a fork in the road where they have to go up to get to the exit, they will go down because that is the direction of the park exit. I hope that helps. EDIT: Here's a quick diagram I made. Sorry for the bad quality. I did make it in 5 minutes.
COASTER FREAK 11
^I was just about to type that up! Good job describing the issue. So, the problem lies in the design of your land, somewhere in there you have dead ends that are causing this (like shown above, a dead end is the issue.) Your solutions are either find the problem areas and connect the paths so there are no dead ends facing the park exit (but this may still result in some guests getting lost by the nature of the game), or redesign the land so the dead ends are all gone completely. When I make lands and park in general, I try and avoid having windy paths that lead to dead ends. It causes an issue every time. Do you have any screen shots you can post? Maybe we can help you figure this out.
andre8
Will this help?
COASTER FREAK 11
Ok, I can see the problem in the screen shot. Your park path is not lined up with the location of where the guests enter the map.The right path is your issue. You need to back into the editor and change where the guests enter the map. Make sense?
