Groteslurf
Yesterday after work, we went to the Sinksenfoor, only a few blocks from the office. The Sinksenfoor is a yearly fair since more than 100 years with some 150 attractions, opening on Pentecost Saturday and this for about 6 weeks. It's been a while since my last visit to this yearly fair, so I was looking forward to this evening. It was the first sunny evening since more than a week, so there were a lot of people on the fair, but it was not too crowdy. On to the pics.Official website Sinksenfoor End of part 1. Part 2 coming soon. ^ ^ ^ Here we go. Ready. Yes ! 'Do you think that ride is high ?' Ready to ride. ^ ^ ^ Camera takeover by one of my colleagues. Ticketprice : 6 euro (later that evening it was already 7 euro). ... ok, lets ride it ... pulling 4.3 G ... 75 metres high, 125 kms/hour Booster Maxxx !!!! And hurt themselves. First some colleagues tried out this thing. Wait ! WTF is that ?? ^ Another flatride (don't remember the name) ^ ^ Xtreme Funhouse 2 Kiddiecoaster Bobsled ^ ^ ^ ^ Eclipse Random flatride Funhouse 1 Flight simulator Attractions everywhere My colleagues and me (on the left)

Another scare house. ^ 'OMG, this thing is going fast'. No time to laugh anymore still laughing still laughing still laughing Still laughing 2 of my colleagues decided to ride the Bobsled. I prefer Booster Maxx over Eclips. It's even higher than the nearby Ferris Wheel ^ ^ Me on the right Even upside down at 75 metres in the air The view over the city when you're at 75 metres is absolutely stunning. ^ ^ ^ None of my colleagues dared to join me. Time for another ride on Booster Maxxx There even is a water rafting ride. That'll do the trick. I'm still hungry. Another scare house Polyp flatride Karting Another flatride Scary house ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ Wildmouse ^ Time to eat. Funhouse 3 : the original Cakewalk. Another attraction being there for at least 40 years. Rotor. I remember this ride being on the Sinksefoor as from my first visit, which must now be nearly 40 years ago. Decadance ^ Slingshot

Tömmioh
That looks nice, thanks for the photos! I so would like to try a bigger Booster ride. I wish the fair had been there 3 weeks ago, when I was in Antwerp for 2 days : (. Also I thought Adios Motherf**ker was only a big blue drink with much alcohol and not a shot. Groteslurf
^^ I'll tell them tomorrow at work ^ So AMF is a well known cocktail ? I'm not into those drinks, so I've never heard about that. I just thought it sounded funny.
hansrubens
The Booster is also my favorite fair ride. The speed and intensity are just awesome. The booster Maxxx will be in Hoorn this summer which is approx 16 km from where I live. There is only one problem.... I'll be in California when the kermis strikes Hoorn. or ----Hans
Airtime&Gravity
Nice trip report and photos, and wow, this is just more proof of how U.S. fairs suck compared to European fairs. Looks like you had a lot of fun, and the ride selection looks amazing. Fairs here are usually just kiddie rides, a graviton, a falling star, and a frisbee if you're lucky. Cygnus12
Great TR! Booster looks great but I have my eye on Decadance; I love a good Breakdance ride! Eclipse looks pretty good too...hell everything looks good. Airtime&Gravity: Fairs here are usually just kiddie rides, a graviton, a falling star, and a frisbee if you're lucky. There actually are some good traveling rides here but you just never see them all together like at European fairs.
