What's with Chicago and Bulls?

Hey, I'm watching the Celtics play the Bulls, and I just got the thinking, with the Story behind Raging Bull at SFGAm, do the Chicago Bulls draw their name from the same origin as the coaster?

No, I believe the NBA team name comes from the old stockyards, while the coaster has to do with the area of the park it is in.

Raging Bull probably draws beyond the area it's in and along with the Chicago history like the Chicago Bulls do. The railroad made Chicago a big town for the meat industry.

Chicago was the meat packing capital of the world for many years. The southside was filled with stockyards for miles.

 

Thus the name.
