I don't know about sundays, but I had a couple friend's go to SFMM last saturday. They were there for about 6.5 hours and got on 5 rides (X2, Viper, Riddler's Revenge, Colossus, and Goliath). They said Colossus was about 10 minutes but the other 4 were 1-2.5 hours. I think they overexagerated (spelling?) a bit (you know how GP can get) but you could tell it was busy. Hopefully crowds will go down as Spring Break is now over for pretty much everyone and I am hopefully planning on going in a couple weeks also.

In general, when I have gone on Sundays there were lines but they weren't a problem unless the ride was running one train. Usually Gold Rusher, Ninja, Revolution, Superman and Viper haven't had much of a line at all. They actually let us go twice on Revolution once. Batman, Colossus and Scream usually aren't too bad if they are being run at maximum capacity, and Deja Vu, Goliath, and Riddler's are long but manegable. X2 is the one you have to worry about because you will never find less than an hour wait for it.

Last time I went on a Saturday, it was in May and we did twelve rides in twelve hours. Deja Vu, Goliath, Riddler's, Scream, Tatsu, and X2 were all at least an hour all day (skipped Deja Vu due to lines). Batman, Colossus, Ninja, Superman, and Viper were all about a half hour or so, at least at the time we rode them (don't know about Superman for sure since it broke down right before we got there and we didn't come back, but the sign said 30 minutes). The only roller coasters without much of a wait that I saw at any point during the day were Gold Rusher and Revolution.

If you go on a Sunday, there will be lines. However, you should be able to do everything major at least once. If you invest in the flashpass, you will likely have time for re-rides on most attractions. Now through Memorial Day will probably be your best bet crowdwise through September, so you should have a good time.

I think this year will be busy compared to the previous year. We were there yesterday (Sunday) and I thought it was much more crowded at this time last year. It might have something to do with the economy and less people working so families are taking the most affordable vacations. We avoided X2 and Tatsu yesterday and probably will again this next Sunday. If you get there early enough I would start counter clockwise with Goliath being your first major coaster.

^I'm planning on running my a** off to X2 first, it worked on a Saturday in February which is probably still less than usual, but I'll do it anyway since my friend and I tend to get there really early. I think I may pass up on tatsu (no way in hell will I cough up the money for the flash pass ) and head to Deja vu to finally get my last credit in the park (before termy of course). Hopefully it will be less crowded though, it was like northern so cal's spring break last week so hopefully that wraps it up with SB.

yeah I've heard about the 4 oclock line shortening, it's never happened when I went there. My plan is to usually get there early and run my arse off to X2, I got lucky last time figuring as it opened only like 5 minutes after the park which is always a good thing. After that I had time to ride Viper and even Tatsu's line was short enough by the time we got over to it. The only difference was that that was a Saturday in February, I'm hoping that I can hit the spot between spring and summer break...hoping

The park will be open. All roller coasters will be open, unless there was some emergency.

July will be VERY crowded and VERY hot.

I was there last July, and it was pretty crowded, but not a Disneyland on a Saturday or anything. I didn't ride too much (because of lines and limited time, but they were do-able) but I remember waiting about 30 minutes for Goliath, an hour for Deja Vu, about 10 minutes for Scream, about an hour for Riddler's, and I think a walk-on for Revolution.

...Not too bad.
