Pretty good effort.

 

*What I liked*

-Very nice pacing throughout.

-Very good, logical layout with a nice selection of elements.

 

*Advice on what you can do to improve*

-Some of those elements were far too tight in size, meaning the cars often lifted off the track or went through each other. Next time, try and test for any of these 'hits' to see if the element is realistic or not.

-Try and work out some of those pumps. Its often helpful to use a circular object when making helix's to help reduce pumps and keep a constant radius. For other elements, I tend to look at real life examples and base the shaping after them. Usually it helps a tonne when your smoothing your ride out.

-When building rides, try and cover the whole track in a tunnel to test for any intrusions and act upon it. It makes the ride much more realistic and it stops the riders arriving back at the station with their heads intact.

-If a ride seems to be running out of steam, try and finish it as quick as possible. While yours isn't a bad example, it still started to get a little slow towards the end.

 

Again, great effort on your behalf. I feel we may be getting a few good quality rides from you in the future.

Ontop of that, make sure all of your lifthills and brakes and stations are straight with GCI's. Never seen any of the above on a curve before, especially the lifthills. If you need to build a straight element at an awkward angle, then use a support connected between two nodes. A connection between two points will always be straight in NL (talking supports).

 

Also, use Ctrl and G to smooth out your elements, and try to smooth as you go. Also, use a more natural color for woodies- it just looks better.

 

As for supports, well, this is where the BT stops. You didn't take any measures to properly support the coaster. The coaster would have failed and the wood would have broken, sending the cars flying off into the abiss. Observe how GCI's build every element of their rides as well. There's a lot of things to learn about woodies, stuff that steel coasters wouldn't have built into them, seeing as woodies are designed to toss the riders around, making them feel unsafe, adding to the thrills.
