traincrossin Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 1) The file size 483,306 kb 2) The file type wmv 3) Is the file getting uploaded 100% before the page directs I'm pretty sure it does, but the video takes over an hour to upload so I can't be sure. When I came back it was on the CoasterTube homepage. The video is 8 minutes long but I have uploaded 4 minute long videos that are half as big and those work. When I go to the video after it has "uploaded" all I get is a white screen.
traincrossin Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 I can't upload videos anymore. When I click on the "Upload Video" button, it turns green and then back to normal but the progress bar doesn't pop up. Then when I click on it a second time the bar pops up and says "Uploading, please wait" but it doesn't upload anything and it doesn't say how much it has uploaded.
Ledgy Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Hi There, I upload 3 videos in different File Format (WMV, MP4, M4V), all of them encoded in 1280x720 from a High-Resolution File. If you click on the download link, they are in the encoded resolution, but if you watch them in the Coastertube-Player they are all in the same wasty quality with large blocks! What I´m doing wrong here? Can you help me please? M4V: [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=Blue_Fire_-_OnRide-1_wq99[/coastertube] WMV: [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=Blue_Fire_-_OnRide_hp2h[/coastertube] MP4: [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=Blue_Fire_-_OnRide_0_gxe7[/coastertube] - Ledgy- [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=tpr_credits_sd_fixed_chfh[/coastertube]
StealthFan Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Okay I am having the same problem aswell now. We will look into this. Thanks for posting the info about your videos aswell. -Craig
Ledgy Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 You´re right, now it´s much better! But it´s not the full quality of the File, again...; but it´s possible to watch it. [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=Blue_Fire_-_DEZ02Test_cuoa[/coastertube] Will put the whole file later.
robbalvey Posted December 2, 2009 Author Posted December 2, 2009 ^ I don't think we'll ever be able to match the full quality in the .flv file and also not have serious bandwidth issues, but I think if your original file is pretty high quality they should look very good on CoasterTube! --Robb
Ledgy Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Don´t find any post by searching the forum about the max. definitions (only an older one somewhere where were you told something about a 30MB limitation), for example: max. Filesize max. resolution max. bitrate possible fileformats (mp4; avi; mov; mpeg?; divX?) Or... what is the best configuration to upload? Maybe in a HD Quality? Can I put my original m2ts or mpg files on coastertube (AVCHD 1080p), they are naturally in the best resolution? Will they be renderd to flv? I even watched a post of you in the forum "TPR´s China/Japan Trip 2009" Site 7. There you linked a video "Fireball POV" how did you get that good resolution? It´s awesome, also in your IAAPA Reports. I know you have a good equipement, but mine is also not so bad - posted in your Topic "TPR is going HD" filming. Ledgy - in Hoodie fever - P.S.: Was just writing here, get the message :o) But I think this entry might help other peps, also. Will try the vids again.
robbalvey Posted December 15, 2009 Author Posted December 15, 2009 A minor, but I feel very useful feature was added to CoasterTube today. You can now sort by Name, Rating, Date Added, or Views when looking at a member's videos: http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/memberprofile.php?mid=2&sort=title It's probably most important for categories like "Theme Park Review Videos" or Shane's Amusement Attic, but I think it's very helpful when trying to navigate through videos. --Robb
