Kujax Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Experience is not that it has much, I take one in the part of above of the ear. It bothers a little in the beginning but already months ago me I did it and no longer hurts. I have a friend who take one in the lip and another one in the navel, and she to said to me that she does not hurt but who he is a little heavy because she needs many cares... I of course me it would not do it xD
AllisonY2K Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 alright well, let me copy the 2 pics from the photo thread to this one. I have 10 piercings in total. ears x3, industrial, nose, and labret. I had my navel pierced but it was done too shallow and the body was rejecting it so after awhile I just took it out. I'll get it redone the right way with my current piercer some day. I also plan on getting my tongue pierced in august. ok, well about the piercings. my labret hurt the most. my piercer said "oh it will be just like popping a zit." um, no. it didn't feel like any zit I popped! plus the first time, eventhough it looked right and all, it was off center, so I asked him to repierce it. so he had to take it out, and go through the process *again*. twice the pain! since he had to use all new tools to do it a second time I tipped him an extra $10. that was almost my most expensive piercing at $50. next on the hurt would be the industrial, but that's because it's 2 piercings. I think it would have hurt more but I had my adrenaline going and I was expecting pain so I was ready for it. then there is my nose. the nose didn't hurt a lot, but it did bleed some right after and that freaked me out. adjusting to the nose ring took some time too because it always felt like I was going to sneeze with the way the backing was rubbing on in the inside. yeah, then the ears hurt the least. they were originally done with piercing studs years ago, but I wanted to toughen up my girlie image so I took out the original piercing studs and replaced them with metal capture-bead rings. The only problem I had with my labret was accidentally catching the backing on my teeth while talking or eating. that wasn't fun. after the swelling went down it happened less and less. now that I replaced the stud with a ring it doesn't happen at all. interestingly enough, the only body piercing I didn't have done through my current piercer was the navel...and my body rejected it. once I found out my friend's boyfriend was a pro piercer from NYC and had a shop down here, I started going to him exclusively. all the piercings he's done for me have all been great, healed well, no problems. even when I stop by periodically he'll take a look at the most current piercing to see how it's healing. I should have figured the piercing I paid the least for ($10) would be the only one to reject. ...and those are my piercing stories/experiences.
FlyingScooter Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Anyone that that can withstand piercings and tat's has my respect. I don't faint at the sight of blood or anything, i just can't stand needles. My first experience with pierced tongues was about ten years ago. I stopped to get gas and the cashier had a rod and ball in her tongue. She was showing everyone in line. Someone asked her why she got it and she said: well, my boyfriend said it would give him pleasure. then this guy behind me says: Wow, maybe you should fill your mouth with ball bearings and totally drive him wild. Is DW-40 poisonous? She tried throwing a lighter at him and missed. Unfortunately she hit this little kid in the nose and his mom called the cops. There were five of us as witnesses. Wasn't fun.

ventedspleen Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 apologies for duplicating a threat btw... just a newbie so still getting to grips!
307 Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 I've had my ears each pierced [left one three times], but I have no pictures with them and they're gone now. I've had my eyebrow pierced [two times at the same time on the right side]. And I currently have three rings in my lip. The middle one is about four years old, the other two are three. None of them really caused much problems. I mean obviously you have the dull stinging afterwards, and it was kind of difficult to sleep on my right side until the eyebrow piercings healed. It also was a pain in the arse to eat for a week or so after I got the lip rings. Forks also tend to get stuck there if you're not careful. But now it's like they're an extension of my face. 'Course everyone still looks at me like I'm a freak, but I guess that's to be expected.
CoasterExpert13 Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 I have four ear piercings...2 earings to an ear each by mistake...I usually wear one set of earrings though. I have yet to get a tatoo (i'm not too big on pain)...but if I do, a Roller Coaster will be Incorporated into it...
