AlmereStars Posted September 5, 2008 Author Posted September 5, 2008 TEASER! (real update will come sunday or monday) Teaser
AlmereStars Posted September 6, 2008 Author Posted September 6, 2008 UPDATE Todays update is all about Batavia!! the entire new area which contains Batavia and V.o.C is almost done and ready to be shown. I'll continue updating tomorrow with V.o.C but for know it's all about the biggest ship in the Dutch Fleet around the 17th century! This is what it looks like when you walk into the area if you just got sick at the Giant Frisbee What's an area without the shops? The entrance of batavia (right) and the exit (left) Because you can't get any good shots of batavia at the front, we went back to the main street. Here you can get beautiful pictures Told you I'll end this update with another great shot of this very photogenic ride
Steffen_Dk Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 OMG love it! So much theming for only one single ride is fantastic And regarding Sewer and the theming. If you want to, and feel that you have the time for it, you can build the coaster in an empty scenario editor and theme it there. Save it with theming and go into your park, where you can sink the coaster and theming down into the ground.
DBru Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 I LOVE Batavia! The themeing is fantastic, as well as the placement! Another great addition...
Kalepi_Konei Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Love this park its so awesome! As for the sewer video I can't get it to play, can someone put it on YouTube or something for me? It'd be much appreciated.
AlmereStars Posted September 7, 2008 Author Posted September 7, 2008 @Steffen: on the next underground coaster I'll do that @DBru:thanks! @Kalepi_Konei: thanks! the video is not that special, you don't really miss anything UPDATE Today is update #5 with V.o.C. V.o.C is a dark ride/rollercoaster/waterride like De Vliegende Hollander at De Efteling. In a boat you'll go trough some dark stuff, and then drop out of a tower and splash into the water. The theming is the same as Batavia. I can't show pictures of the dark ride/station cause it needs some improvements, but the rollercoaster area and outside look is great! look at te tower, hiding behind everything! Thats a better look at the entrance and station/tower of V.o.C The coaster part isn't big but it packs a big punch! note: first entire coaster with custom supports I have ever done! "You may get wet, probably soaked" This update ends with a shot of the parks staff getting ready for opening day! but we still have another update coming (Grizzly and Bearpit) which I probably upload wednesday/thursday! Cya!
AlmereStars Posted September 10, 2008 Author Posted September 10, 2008 okay no reactions well heres another update: Grizzly and Bear Pit!!! We start with a small overview, with Grizlly's Station Entrance of Bear Pit Bear Pit is a S&S shot from a pit, if you're too scared to ride Bear Pit, you can look at the people who will ride it from above Grizzly is ready to roar Grizzly is a traditional woody, with some tunnels randomly placed The ride ends with a Helix before you head into the break run This update concludes the entire park, I will update one more time before putting the park up for download. That update will contain the opening day! Overview of PT: De Veluwe[/img]
Steffen_Dk Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 To compensate for the missing reactions, I'll make a quick one here Grizzly looks fantastic; if you have the time, it would be cool to see custom supports, but I totally understand, if you don't want to - that's a HUGE work. But back to the commenting - Grizzly's station is lovely - the dark wooden beams going through the brighter wooden walls makes a great contrast..
DBru Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 The park looks great! I love Bear Pit's entrance, as well as Grizzly's. Love Grizzly's layout, as well!
AlmereStars Posted September 22, 2008 Author Posted September 22, 2008 thank you both!! i've been busy the last couple of weeks, and I dont really have the time to update in the next couple of weeks. but I went into the park last weekend. I bumped my head into this! I wonder what's going on. Looks like the park is getting another addition ]
Steffen_Dk Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 I can't see what the sign says, but could it have something to do with a construction
AlmereStars Posted September 22, 2008 Author Posted September 22, 2008 I can't see what the sign says, but could it have something to do with a construction The sign is the logo of V.o.C the coaster
Steffen_Dk Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Ohhhh, but I'm still guessing construction.
AlmereStars Posted October 14, 2008 Author Posted October 14, 2008 FINAL UPDATE!!!! Heey everyone, its been a while. Actually I got sick and tired of playing RCT3 (HATE the lagging), but I picked it up again the last few days. The first thing I did was finishing this park. in the latest updat eyou could see there would be one more attraction. And it's a mad house! You enter a tavern (Café De Laetste Hoop, Tavern The Last Hope) which goes crazy. pictures: That's something different then the constructionsite The entrance (and exit), I wanted to put in a lot of details but the lagging sucked really bad I still like V.o.C a lot! its so pretty The inside, which I didn't make, so all respect to Doughnut's for making this great CFR I put up the download somewhere this week Greetings!
KPWoCkAxX Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Awesome! That water coaster looks great! Well done on this park, Will definately be downloading!

Just put the .dat file in My Documents/RCT3/Parks PT Veluwe.dat Just the park pt de veluwe.rar With billboards (logo's)
Thelegendarymatthew Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Once I get my computer back up, I'll download it! I'm concerned that all the pictures might not work. Same with the custom rides, I've heard that custom rides can mess up your game pretty bad. -Matthew
AlmereStars Posted October 20, 2008 Author Posted October 20, 2008 Costum Flat Rides don't, custom tracks do if you don't know how to handle them. Custom Rides works just as Custom Scenery, put them in style/themed/custom and done (always read the Read me)
KPWoCkAxX Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Almere's right, they're perfectly safe to use it is only custom tracked rides that go wrong if you don't use the correct numbers etc. I pretty much repeated what he said didn't I? I've got to stop talking to myself......
AlmereStars Posted October 21, 2008 Author Posted October 21, 2008 ^shut up! Well if anyone download it, and the park works. Could you please tell me what you like and what you dont?? thank you!
