Here's my first published coaster, Deep purple the ride, i will try to get pictures soon if somebody can tell me how to make the nl screenshots smaller. (less that 500kb) Edit; i dont know how to make screenshots or .wmv files smaller so will give you the track insted

No i have done a few but they are rubbish this is the first published coaster, it also didnt have many high g's my other coasters do

okay not that bad for a beginner, I actually liked the first drop. a few tips:

 

lifthill: select the mid-section and hit "i" on you keyboard, this way you'll get a straight lifthill

 

and use more nodes! right know you use at least half the nodes you should be using

It was actually a pretty decent coaster!

 

Did you make those supports yourself?

No i used the auto generator, but i am learning to make custom supports for my new giga coaster im working on

My usual view on first rides is that they don't have to be technically brilliant but inspired. This ride wasn't technically brilliant but it held a lot of fun, original elements and that alone is enough to give you a good footing in using this program.

 

I suggest you look at other rides in the Editor and find out how their made, it will help you improve and ultimately make better rides.

Thats what im doing now, looking at other rides and finding how they are built, i still dont know what all the buttons do. Edit: Here's the video i uploaded it onto youtube until i learn how to make wmf files smaller.
