elkingda toroka Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Great TR! I'm so excited to go to Chicago on the North of the border thrillcoaster tour. Such a beautiful city.
dammie16@vt.edu Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 Alright 3 questions 1. What kind of camera? 2. How much? 3. Where's the best place to purchase one? I took a photo class in HS and college and I really enjoyed it and would like a good non-point-n-shoot digital but don't know much about them. Thanks, and Chicago looked fun btw!
natatomic Posted August 1, 2008 Author Posted August 1, 2008 ^I tend to have that affect on men. Alright 3 questions 1. What kind of camera? 2. How much? 3. Where's the best place to purchase one? 1. Canon Rebel XT 2. & 3. Look at amazon.com. That's where I got mine. I've never taken a photography class before, so when I first got this camera I just had to kind of figure things out as I went along. I still don't know what all those letters stand for on the dial, though (I usually just make up my own terms because - pshhh - owner's manual? That's for sissies.) But if a novice like me can learn to operate one of these fancy cameras on her own, so can anyone.
dammie16@vt.edu Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 ^Well thats friggin impressive then because (not for the dials since they didn't teach us that either) you have great set-ups in your photos (foreground, mid, background). Maybe it is a women's instinct? Oh and thanks for the info, I figured amazon would work but I wanted more to knwo the camera type so thanks!
