verticalzero Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Just found this great gallery taken in winter. These would look great on a calendar http://www.ohiourbex.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=5793
robbalvey Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 These would look great on a calendar Perhaps if the coaster wasn't closed, abandoned, and dilapidated looking, sure. --Robb "I guess I don't see the beauty in a closed down park." Alvey
andy_e219 Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 The pictures are very cool, but I don't think they would look good on a calander.
Kennyweird Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Abandoned amusement parks are interesting. They are eerie, beautiful and sad all at the same time. I also think this would look great in a calendar, but only if its theme is "abandoned amusement parks".
Troll Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Its a shame the park didn't have a haunted house when it was open - just think how creepy it would be to walk around one of those in an old, abandoned theme park
cathyJ Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 This park closed way back in the 70's..why is it still there? Hey I am all for history but why keep a roller coaster standing ( even if the coaster is in the woods ) that hasn't been in use since 1974 or whenever it stopped running? The wood on that thing has to be totally rotted out by now..that is a safety issue in itself. There is a higher chance of everyone on this board hitting a big lottery jackpot than to see this coaster running again much less the ferris wheel in the trees or even the park itself re-opening as an amusement park. Whats keeping them from tearing all of this down?
