MASH80554077 Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 I'm not really sure where this goes since this forum is sooo confusing. I put up a thread and people immediately tell me its already up search before you post. I then do it and find nothing Nothing and i Still manage to get in trouble or get told to look at the posting rules. then I use a non descriptive title in one of my posts and i get in trouble immediately. then i use the right one and nobody gives me any answers to my question because it isn't interesting enough AND I NEED HELP! I don't get it. i really am beginning to get frustrated with the people on this forum. i love roller coasters and want to talk about them. Why is this so hard.
spaceace12 Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 When you do a search, you can specify what to search for all words, topc titles only. That makes it easier to find things.
Carnage Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 Maybe just try to not make new threads until you get the hang of it. Just post in existing threads until you know how thinks work.
Erik Johnson Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 It does take a little time for new members to get the hang of things, and we understand that. So please do not take the closing of your threads too personally. As for being descriptive, "HELP, I NEED TO KNOW" is simply not a descriptive title of a post. If you do have a question about a park/ride/etc, just pretty much write that question as your topic heading like: "I have a question about SFGadv" (and for the subheading) Any info about a rumored Dive Coaster? A TPR mod may close the thread after the question is answered or direct you to another thread where you would have a better chance of getting it answered, but again please do not take it personally. Sometimes people's question do get pushed down really quickly to the bottom of the forum, so you may need to bump it by posting a follow up question, but please wait a day or two before doing this. We really try not to make things confusing around here, so if you do have any questions about Themeparkreview, feel free to send a personal message to one of the forum mods. Thanks.
