ArrowHater Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 I kind of took the template for that old coaster sims contest for the park. I made my one!! Its two coasters in one!! I think its one of my best!! Its got a few spikes, but I dont really have time to adjust those, im in another contest "EuroFighter" that i have in the other hand! The first drop is incredible! ENJOY! DBru Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 The coaster had plenty of potential, but like you said, there were some g-spikes and a lot of pumps. I really liked the Stengel-dives though. One of my favorite elements on a coaster!
thrillrideseeker Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 WOW. Ummm... good coaster... idea. I don't really know what to say, so I will just skip to my list! Lets do the wrongs first... What Was Wrong: --Red G's-- - You had red G's in your first inversion. - You had red G's in the inversion by the pirate ship. - You had red G's right after your first YELLOW inversion. --Tunnel Test-- - Your coaster fails the tunnel test at the following locations. These are just a few. If you want the complete list just ask! - Fails right after your 3rd inversion. The coaster goes right through your final break run. - Fails on your break run right before you turn into the launch. There are two trees that the coaster seriously slams into! - Fails right after your first yellow inversion. Again a tree goes through the track. - Fails right before your last break run. Again a tree through the track. --Other Not Acceptable Things-- - You have a support that goes through the track on your third inversion. - You have a very dramatic stop right before the launch. Your coaster goes from 40mph to 10mph in less than 2 seconds. Come on... it is not Hypersonic! - You have an incline trim that is very long. Try making it one break box long. - Your last break run should not have kicker wheels, plus it is not straight. The Incline break run is fine, but the one right before it is not. Remove the kicker wheels and try to make it more incline. - Plus your coaster does not pass the E-stop test. If the ride is E-stopped during the launch the train should roll back to the bottom and re-set to launch again. Yours just stops at the top and there is nothing to do to get the coaster rolling again. Good Things - You had some amazing scenery! Great job! - You had a very original layout! Again... great job! - Your coaster also had signficant ride time!! Over all you did good on this coaster! I would give it a 7/10! ~Matthew
dr.gumbo Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 I know that the scenery was from Coaster Sims but I do know that the Revenge of the Mummy 3d wasn't there, did you ask permission to use it becuase I know it wasn't your's. The ride itself was OK, I admired the fact you gave yourself a challenge and I like the two ride idea but a lot of work is needed to be honest. You have a good ride going here!
ArrowHater Posted April 10, 2008 Author Posted April 10, 2008 oh yea; oops. I forgot it was there because i was tinkering with it. Maybe I should take it out. sorry
dr.gumbo Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Nah, its OK as long as you tell the person you used.
