ghost007jas Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 Silverwood is "infamous" for running all their coasters in one train operation all the time. This amusement park is also home to a ride formerly located at Knott's Berry Farm, the Corkscrew. During it's stay at Knott's I believe that the Corkscrew ran two trains, but now that it has moved to Silverwood it only runs one train. So, does anyone know what happened to the other train (if indeed there was one)? Is it being used for spare parts at Silverwood? Or was it sold to another amusement park for use on another ride? Thanks!
Mr.Six Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 The other train stayed at Knotts and runs on Boomerang. -Mike
ghost007jas Posted April 4, 2008 Author Posted April 4, 2008 Do you know what (if anything) it was used for? Edit: ^ I thought it may be something like that, thanks! It is possible that they removed one of the cars from the train so that it could operate on Boomerang.
CycloneMan Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 ^^But Boomerang has 7 cars and Corkscrew didnt...
robbalvey Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 ^ It's possible that they removed a car, bought an extra, had an extra car. I do know though that Boomerangs train is (or at least was) the 2nd Corkscrew train. --Robb
