Jeezus Juice Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 We went back to Traintown in Sonoma CA today to pick up the credit that wasn't operating last month. It's a Wisdom Dragon double helix tire driven coaster with overly padded lapbars (we like!). Submitted for your preusal are some pics and a short video. Enjoy yourselves, wipe hands on pants. Traintowninternets.mpg It's just over 6mb and about a minute long. Watch with your family tonight! They even had a Farup Sommerland like mini death course! All the rides are kinda situated around this lake, no I didn't fall in with my camera this time! The coaster "Dragon Train" costs $1.75, thats 0.35 euros to you Euro folks I'm happy to be back
PhishyBrewer Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 CREDIT WHORE! Your probably going to steal a kid tomorrow so you can ride the Taxi Cab coaster at PGA, huh? Funny video. SLAYER!
ECZenith Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 Interesting park, never even heard of that place. Reminds me so much of Edaville Railroad here in Mass.
pgathriller Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 I have never heard of the park but I have been on an exact type of coaster here in El Paso. It is at a new Bowling Alley here. They have different types of flat rides and this coaster. Here is the link if you want to check it out. http://www.ultimaterollercoaster.com/coasters/yellowpages/coasters/cobra_oasis.shtml
Jeezus Juice Posted July 3, 2005 Author Posted July 3, 2005 Wow, these things are all over. We drove through El Paso last summer, maybe we could've added a credit? Oh, and as for your comment ^^^ I did and (check my sig) I did!! <---feels dirty
pgathriller Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 ^ Hey Jeezus Juice, when you passed through El Paso did you go to Western Playland Amusement Park?
Jeezus Juice Posted July 3, 2005 Author Posted July 3, 2005 No we didn't stop at all that day. I had checked out W.P. prior to setting out but it was the first day of our 7 week coaster road trip and honestly I didn't know if we we're going to have the funds to complete it. I decided it would make the most sense to do a "best of" tour to make sure we we're able to complete our trip. For example, that first day of our trip started in Anaheim at 4 am and ended at a KOA in Fort Stockton TX 9:30 pm that evening. Day 2 took us to SFFT at opening, an hour at Sea World San Antonio, then a drive to KOA #2 in north Houston. I made a 60min DVD of our road trip last summer. It's got some pretty funny parts and gives you a good idea what it would be like to take 2 months driving around the country camping and going to parks. Maybe I should make it available again this year? Jeezus "56 parks in 49 days" Juice
