haiderodes
^ Wow, sounds like even less of a crowd than opening day. The only ride with a wait was Superman which we ended up skipping due to one train operation and slow dispatch. The line was down the stairs and coming down the hill. All the others were walk-on unless you really wanted the front row. Everything was one train operation except Goliath which had a two train op. Broadwayboy2007
^ That's a shame about Superman. Everything was running only one train opening day except for I think Goliath. But I was able to finally ride Superman because of the lack of line, and I ended up loving it so much I would wait an hour (but not much more than that) to ride it! Swimace
I really liked Superman the first time I rode it, but it kind of lost its thrill after a few rides. I don't think I'd ride it if the line was too far past the bottom of the stairs with two trains running. Dispatch on Superman can be really slow and they hardly ever run both stations so that line builds up pretty quickly.
Coasterlvr_nc
I definately agree about Flying Dutchmen > B&M Flyers. I've been on both and the Vekoma version is MUCH better IMO. I also think the Vekoma versions are way more comfortable. It depends which flying dutchman you ride in my opinion. Nighthawk can give quite rough rides nowadays, firehawk is a different story though.
carolinacaniac
I was done in Atlanta with my wife this weekend, and we were also going to do SF on saturday just to see that it was in the low 30's. I decided to drive by to see if anything was running and saw that it was closed. I was a bit bummed since this was a big part of our trip for the weekend, but I did go for an hour or so on Sunday before we went to the NASCAR race that afternoon (Six Flags America Season Pass). I loved Goliath, Mind Bender and Batman. Thought Wile and Ninja were fun, and Great American was a great let down. I was in line for Superman when I noticed my phone had jumped an hour, and realized that I forgot it was daylight savings So I got in 6 of the 10 coasters, but on the bright side, Melissa and I are planning a trip back next month. This time around I am gonna do it the right way with pictures and everything!
