Manny In England Posted January 5, 2008 Share Posted January 5, 2008 1 and 3 for me, the same with most films that follow standard trilogy rules. 1: Great film has a conclusion and doesn't need the next two. 2: Everything goes wrong, people die, that sort of thing 3: Large battle and sum everything up Doesn't mean they're not all awesome though. Dead Man's Chest underwhelmed me so it lessened World's End (much as I enjoyed that one)... If they'd taken some elements out so that the second and third could be combined into a cohesive and much more concise single sequel, that would have been much better.
