Sticky Nicky Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Awesome photos. The next gen. model for the Flying Dutchman looks like a cool concept, although I don't think it is going to work as smoothly as they are probably expecting. Is that Griffon CoasterDynamix model really fast when it goes along the circut? In the Coaster Crew podcast, it looked like it was going 50 mph throughout the whole ride. I really hope that one of those alien waterslides get built in the US, but I heard they cost something like $12 million. Mabye Disney will invest? The dinner in the sky concept sounds really cool, although I can't see one being put into an amusement park. Does anyone know why B&M took a Griffon car instead of a Shiekra car. Was it because of the ten across or Busch thought Sheikra needed all five of it's trains? I don't see the new PTC one bench trains selling very well. GCII's Millennium Flyers look better than them. I know MFs track better too, one of the reasons for so little retracking on GCI's.

Just a guess but since BGE is closed it would make more sense to use one of those trains than the park that is still open.
Sticky Nicky Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 ^ That was another option, but still, shipping that must have cost a pretty penny when they could of just brought a Sheikra car up form nearby Tampa.
Reon Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 That next gen flyer looks a bit unpractical, but I tend to favor Vekoma's over the other guys.
