IwantRevenge Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 an old ride i had never got to uploading. ===================================== Sky IV is a unique intamin shuttle using a patented and unique Hydrolic and LSM combination launch track. Hydrolics to accelerate and LSMs to decelerate. The ride also features a one of a kind Flying immelmann element which while it looks like a cobra roll only truely inverts once. ======================================== This ride would use the smaller Intamin trains since the manuver of the flying immelmann is quite small. ====================================== and now announcing it's bronze medal on WWS! ======================================== more screenshots on request... Sky IV[Flanged]V2.nltrack Bronze.bmp medal!
Théo the little french Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 Good job! I like the concept, it was funny and pretty smooth! But Some Gs are too much strong (but I understand it's not easy to have good Gs with a shuttle, if you see what I mean...)
Loefet Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 ^ G's are fine, anything over 5.5 on an Intamin is too much. The track is pretty good, haven't seen any good twisty shuttles like this one in a while now. But too much lateral wobbling for my liking.
thefitness Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Interesting concept, I like it! I really like the CobraRoll-esque inversion.
rolercstrluvr Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 I downloaded that roller coaster at WWS and I thought it would be a really good addition to any park.
ComplexAudio99 Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 I remember seeing this coaster... I always thought this coaster was one of the coolest coasters I've seen. I love the unique inversion, too bad this isn't real. Great kob, and congrats on getting a bronze!
