I haven't been to it in years and was really looking forward to it. Well, let's just say some things are better in memory only. I'll let the pics. show what I mean. If you look close behind here you'll spot a future ACEr K-Dawg was the only one of use brave enough to try one of these rides. Here she is on Tip-Top. She spun a lot and fast. For all the Beer drinkers on TPR. This one is for you. K-Dawg pondering what was wrong with this picture. Hint in case you can't figure it out the ride is running and the freaking gate is open. Boardwalk Fries and we are nowhere near a Boardwalk. I think some fragile minds were blown by this sign. It may have been ghetto but at least they were sanitary...or something. They even had the old Frozen Whip recipe from the defunct Euclid Beach park which closed in 1969. The even had Bumper Boast which I guess would be their signature ride #5. Signature ride #4 Sizzler aka Scrambler. K-Dawg ashamed because she is not tall enough for Skydiver. This must be Lake County because this guy is kareokeing to some Country song. Oh noes it's coming right at us! The sign is all light up and stuff. Signature ride #3 Sky Diver aka not a rock-o-plane. Sorry Canobiefan. No. I'm too big. Notice the look of extreme disappointment? Whoreable Credit. Would I be able to whore it? Signature ride #2. Tip-Top aka Whatever the bloody heck this kind of ride is. Signature ride #1. Flashback aka Matterhorn. Well at least the had bathrooms in case you had too much Beer to drink or just generally had to go. Just in case I wanted to leave, and in the event Hell ever froze over, I could get back in. $6 just to get in. I want my money back. A-yup here we are at the Fair.

I would have thought that it would be a lot nicer since I assume the county has a decent population(I'm guessing it is between Toledo and Cleveland), so it should have been a decent fair. The whole fair looks like it has a few carnival rides and that nothing has been done in 30 years. It actually looks like more of a local fair, but county fairs are supposed to be better than that.

Masked_Maverick Posted August 17, 2007 Author Posted August 17, 2007 The fair itself is held in Painsville which is roughly 40 min. east of Cleveland. I hate County fairs now. They used to have some decent rides way back when.

Hobbesx2 Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 I've never gone into a ghetto fair, but I've passed plenty (that reminds me, I got to get my road trip TR up). The only one that looked nice was the Toronto one. Anyway, cool TR. Can't get enough of those ghetto fairs and missed credits.
