Wathell Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 i don't care what anybody has to say about this coaster I thought that was great! keep up the good work!! cant wait for your next coaster!
Ed Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 Yeh this ride killed me... It's cool, but those tight turns and hairpins should never be done on any ride
IwantRevenge Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 one word! PUMPY! this was very pumpy, very bumpy, and where are the supports? you should try and spend some more time on your rides.
xascher Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 Well Wee, you had inventive elements, that were executed poorly. But none the less gutsy. Also, you want to get rid of pumps? From my knowledge, a pump is just an inconsistent change of radius of the heartline in the track. Ex, all the turns, drops blah-blah-blah, should have a constant radius, or an elliptical curve, not a box shape, or triangle. PM me if that's a bit confusing.
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 I made it in like an hour.... hence the term impromptu... but maybe I should do a long-term project... I have no idea how to get rid of pumps.... no experience at all... if you can tell me that would be great rather than throwing criticism... that made me feel all yucky inside I'm doing the supports now.. because people thought the concept was good. Well, my suggestion would be to play around with it until the pump is gone. Like ride it in the editor, find the pumps & play around with them until they are gone. And you get better, you will be able to find even smaller ones and correct them even faster. As as for what xascher said about the radius thing, I use a .3DS circle to build around and it works very well!Circle.zip Here ya go!
