VCR to Mac Lap Top Help

I have an Mac book. I have a Emerson VCR. Is there a cord that can connect my VCR to my Lap top so I can record a VHS tape onto my lap top?

 

 

And if there is a cord, NEW raw Drachen Fire Footage will be put up onto TPR.

You need to get some sort of capture card or device. There are cheap TV tuner and video capture devices out there that plug into a USB or 1394 port. I don't know if anything out there is Macintosh compatible, but they will probably do what you need.

You can use their products as a capture device using their eyeTV software, which can also make your mac into a DVR.

 

I bought a device from Miglia that uses the eyetv software (fits the footprint of the mac mini) and I used the software to import some shows from my VCR to convert to my ipod.

 

Ebay or Amazon.com may have some of the products used so you can save some money.
