Going to Six Flags America Monday...any advice?

Hey all!

Haven't been to SFA since it was Adventure World back in 1996-97. I am basically hoping to get in all the new rides since then (Roar, Batwing, Superman, Joker's Jinx, etc.)

 

Any advice on dealing with crowds? I plan to get there right at opening and head back to Batwing/Superman since they seem the farthest from the front gate and the slowest loading (Batwing, that is.)

Batwing really isn't worth it.

 

I'd go straight to Superman and get in 3 or 4 rides.

Batwing is pretty much a clone of X-Flight. If you really want to ride it, you can do it first thing or after Superman: ROS. They're pretty close to each other.

Batwing first, as it's a slow loader. The other ride that takes awhile is the Invertigo, but it also seems to be down a lot. I'd personally get Batwing then S:ROS since you're already in that corner of the park. Superman will likely have the longest line of anything in the park. Everything else shouldn't take long. Roar never seems to have a line.

 

If you see the Typhoon Sea Coaster actually running, get in line! I've been to the park over 20 times, and have manged to get one ride on that thing. They don't run it a lot as it requres a lot of operators, plus it seems to break a lot. It's worth a ride if you like water rides. Have fun!
