coastercrazy216 Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 Memphis- Recently Ground broke on the new park Clementine Cove. The parks owner, Robert McNeil, continuously decides to add to the 75 Million dollar park. "After the loss of Liberty Land, I decided that it was time for a NEW kind of park. A park that would deliver an experience that people would remember for the rest of their lives." The center of the park will be a beautiful Lake. Surrounding this lake will be a variety of attractions. Work has already begun for this multi-million dollar project. Currently work is finishing up on two of the signature attractions which are Magnum, the parks Intamin wooden coaster, and Demon Drop which is the parks Intamin Gyro Drop. The park is currently on schedule for its May 2007 Debut I am really sorry I knew that as soon as I found out about it that I would have to post it on TPR. Pics next time.
coastercrazy216 Posted July 24, 2007 Author Posted July 24, 2007 Sounds good, but it's July, not May. I know it was supposed to be so that it is the start of the 2007 season.

coastercrazy216 Posted July 25, 2007 Author Posted July 25, 2007 ^ I didnt mean for that to be a bad thing, when were there be pics? I am having trouble uploading pictures can anyone help me. By the way, it looks like their Intamin woodie is VERY similar to El Toro. Now there is a down side. You have to ride a tram over to the gate since they don't have any room for a parking lot. But other than that the Park looks great. The lake is gorgeous and so is the entrance. Also they had to cange the name of the drop tower from Demon Drop to Mega Drop courtesy of Cedar Point.

coastercrazy216 Posted July 25, 2007 Author Posted July 25, 2007 Okay so after much confusion about posting I was able to get these pics on the internet. Here is Magnum, the parks Intamin Woodie Here is the entrance to Magnum Here is Magnum and the backside of the parks Topspin which just finished it's first test run Here is one of the Intamin made trains, the station, and the transfer track Word on the street is that the park owners wanted something like El Toro, but not a clone
anush10 Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 This might sound stupid but, how to you change the path color into blue and etc... in rct 3. BTW the park seems to be on the right track!
coastercrazy216 Posted July 26, 2007 Author Posted July 26, 2007 ^ Yes I did use Photo Bucket and might I add it is one great program
coastercrazy216 Posted July 26, 2007 Author Posted July 26, 2007 This might sound stupid but, how to you change the path color into blue and etc... in rct 3. BTW the park seems to be on the right track! You go to the main ride operation bubble thing where the trash can is and there should be three colors buckets. Click on them and that should do it
coastercrazy216 Posted July 26, 2007 Author Posted July 26, 2007 Okay it has been a month since the last update so on my way to work today I decided to drive by the park to get some pictures. Here is a shot from the North-East corner and from what it looks like, they haven't put in any food stalls yet They decided to put in a Ziere chair swing and a Zamperela Rockin' tug Here is a Picture of the Intamin Half Pipe called Riptide. Something tells me that this park likes Intamin Here is the Huss Frisbee. Ya know I am starting to get annoyed with these rides. I mean they are at EVERY park. Here is the Tilt-a-Wirl. I really like how it is covered. Anyway so thats all for now. Keep checking back for updates tomorrow.
Adrenaline_Rush Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 I decided to drive by the park to get some pictures. Who drives by and gets an aerial view of the park! On a more serious note-- The park looks awesome, I suggest a little more then just flat rides though. That not-an-El-Toro-clone-but-almost-an-El-Toro-clone ride looks really good. Keep up the good work!

CCJared Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 You Should put backwards Trains on Magnum, That way its not a Clone!
