Swoosh Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 Busy day at SFStL last Saturday, but had a pretty good time. Full gallery is located at this link, sample below. http://www.midwestinfoguide.com/sixflags/050207/ the trench was pretty cool. See the rest of the photos at MiG Yes I can see how the themeing works... or not Spinning Dragons v2.0 How exactly is this British? It don't hurt no more If it works for Worlds of Fun... Look 6 different flags -- how long has it been since that happened?
spaceace12 Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 I was at the park on Saturday too. Why did Ninja hurt? I did get some pain from the restraint pressing against my chest, but it wasn't too bad.
Swoosh Posted May 2, 2007 Author Posted May 2, 2007 The last time I rode it was about 3 years ago and it gave me the worst headache I had ever had. I swear it jarred every bone in my body out of place. It was actually enjoyable for a change (never thought I would say that).
CP_RULES Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 In that pic you have of Ninja in the preview, that is the only place in the ride that inflicts any kind of severe headbanging. Otherwise it's a really great ride! Thanks for the update, I was disappointed with THBS's location in Britannia too, but apparently its supposed to be an extension of BBNP. How did you make the cars spin so much? I could never really get SD to spin unless no one was sitting in the other side. SFStL looks a lot nicer this season. That Papa Johns looked really nice! I cant wait to go this Saturday. Thanks again for the update.
spaceace12 Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 papa johns is expensive! 3.49 for 3 chees breads about 4 inches by 4 inches.
RollerC Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 Dude, the guy in the 5th pic looks like Randy from American Idol. I know you can't see the face and all but use your imagination.
Swoosh Posted May 2, 2007 Author Posted May 2, 2007 How did you make the cars spin so much? I could never really get SD to spin unless no one was sitting in the other side You get it as off-balance as you can. In my case the other two guys were very large "county bumpkins" who don't miss too many meals. Compare that to skinny as a rail me. I had them get in on one side and then I got in on other side and sat across from the largest of the two. Then you work your tilt-a-whirl magic. Now there is a method to it that you really have to show then tell, but you have to understand I have had lots of practice with the original across the state in my backyard. (Timberland doesn't count as it is indoors)
