I had recently purchased a six flag season pass, but needed to get it processed at Six Flags in Saint Louis. Since Holiday World was still closed, I decided to go today.

Most of the coasters I liked. A few I didn't.

Mr. Freeze: Mr. Freeze is a Launched Shuttle coaster. After being launched you go through a top hat (go upside down) and then around a curve. Then you go straight up and do it all again backwards. Fun coaster.

The Boss: Wooden coaster. I can stand wood coasters roughness because they are wood, but after riding the boss, wow, that was terribly rough.

Screamin Eagle: Wooden Coaster. After Boss, I didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. I don't know if they have repainted it recently in the off season or if it still looks good from a paint job sometime in the past. But the red, white and blue paint job is nice. Also, the coaster wasn't as rough as Boss.

Tony Hawks Big Spin: Steel coaster with spinning cars. Fun little ride, def. a family ride and not allot of thrills.

Ninja: Steel Coaster. The last steel coaster that looped I was on I got dizzy and didn't really enjoy it, so getting on this coaster, I didn't know what to expect. What I got was a great ride. The only thing I didn't like was the restraints.

Batman: Sitdown, suspended coaster. Fun ride. MAde me dizzy, but it wasn't just me.

Overall, Being my first six flags park I visited, I liked it. Some of the ques were way too long, boss and batman just to name a few. I will be going back sometime this summer since I got a season pass.

My only gripe, Food prices. For papa johns cheese sticks, three of them, 3.49. I did buy a souvenir bottle for 8.99, but refills are only a dollar and it is supposedly for all six flags parks.

Did you go today on the 28th? Because I was there also and I have to say that I too agree about the long queues because they were terribly long...longer than anything I've seen in the past 5 years and it had nothing to do with ride operations either. 2 trains on all coasters.

Yes, I went today. I wasn't specifically talking about the lines. Those were okay for what I expected. I was just talking about the long ques to get to the line. As in Batman, you have to walk through so many curves, like it is a park, it would be okay if it was a long line. But there was no shortcut. The boss had this long walk of a que. Seemed as long as the ride. BTW, I was wearing a orangish yellow Voyage shirt, if you saw me.

I did see Tony Hawk had quite a bit of train stacking, but that might be the norm with loading two trains at once.

Oh, haha, at first it seemed like you were talking about the wait time for rides but I get what you mean. I don't remember seeing anyone with a Voyage shirt . I was wearing a green basketball shirt with yellow lettering and khaki shorts.

Boss has pretty much always been rough, but it's getting worse. They need to get new trains for it and re-track it. I'm really glad to hear you liked Ninja. It was my first looper and I really do like the ride, even if it is a bit rough.

hey I was out there today too! the lines didnt seem too bad, I got right on the Boss, the second time I had to wait for 2 circuits of the train-- had to wait for 1 circuit of the Screamin Eagle on the second time as well...Batman was the longest for us, 3 circuits of trains before we got on.

I feel sorry for those people who had to stand in line for the Season Pass processing, they were waiting for ever, when we left, they had closed off that little section, because there were so many people in line.

We got to the park before it opened, when it did open we got on tony hawk and as soon as we hit the brakes at the end, the coaster broke down. apparently when the loading gates were closing, someone leaned on it and it shut down the system,, we had to wait like 15 min for the maitinence guys to come reset it.

but that coaster was broken down like 4 times today, from what we saw..it was doing the same last weekend too.

I NEVER have had a problem with the Boss-- its all about where you sit.. the front is rough, and the back is the roughest place to sit. I always sit in the 3rd car, first seat left side. and still love every ride on the Boss!

the Screamin Eagle has been riding great this year so far, I sure wish they would finish painting it though--my guess is they arent going to because you dont' see the rest of the track in the park. but they still need to finish painting it though! and they need to return the Screamin Eagle sign to the side of the third hill.

either way, I had a great day out there today, no complaints
