Swoosh Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 I have posted the first of a couple of galleries of European parks my brother has visited while studying abroad in Wales this semester. Check out the photos of Blackpool Pleasure Beach at MiG. Sounded like he had a pretty good time, looks like a fun (yet cramped) park. Couple of previews posted below, for the rest of the photos click here: http://www.midwestinfoguide.com/gallery/parks/bpb/
verticalzero Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 BPB does feel like a US seaside Park with it's many rides and attractions. Lovely to see the "Wild Mouse" giving out "Bruised Ribs" to it's riders. Did your Brother go on it..? Nice Pic of the PMBO, Infusion and BD in 1. Can't wait to re-visit the park later this year and grab some photo's of BD's new paintwork.
Swoosh Posted April 19, 2007 Author Posted April 19, 2007 Yes he rode all of the rides there. He didn't mention any rough rides from the Wild Mouse, but then again you have to remember we have Timber Wolf at our homepark, so we're used to rough rides. I really like that photo too of PMBO, Infusion and BD in it. I thought that was pretty sweet
robbalvey Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 No offense dude, but half your posts here are just about spamming your site with your updates, and you don't even bother to post any of the photos here. That's really freaking LAME! At least when I go spread the word about our updates to other sites I'll "contribute" something by posting some photos, information, and a partial update. Here's a good example: http://www.coasterforce.com/cf-info/viewtopic.php?t=15824 See what I'm talking about? I'm doing the same thing as you, posting about one of our updates to another site, but it's not so spammy and annoying as you just posting a sentence and a link. I also find you'll probably get MORE traffic by posting a preview. It's almost like a movie trailer to what your update is all about. So like I said, don't take offense to this, because I'm just trying to help you, and I'm all for people posting information that's on their site or other sites, but if ALL you're going to do is post a sentence and a link most of the time, well, please don't, because I find that very rude and annoying. Hope you understand where I'm coming from. --Robb
Swoosh Posted April 20, 2007 Author Posted April 20, 2007 Honestly I just didn't want to suck up the bandwidth, but if that is what you want me to do I can post a picture or two. It's not like I am trying to be spammy -- I was actually trying to be considerate.
robbalvey Posted April 20, 2007 Posted April 20, 2007 ^ Like I said, don't take offense to what I said, just letting you know. But IMO, posting some photos and making a contribution is considerate, post a link after link is not. --Robb
Divv3k Posted April 20, 2007 Posted April 20, 2007 I know for me, the first time I clicked on this topic and saw nothing but a link I just hit the back button. It just looked like you were screaming "come visit my site!". Had I seen a few photos that piqued my interest like the ones you've now posted I'd have probably taken a look.
Magnumfan Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 I really like the colors on their new coaster. I wish we can paint the Wild Thing at Valleyfair something like that, that'll be awesome. I think the coaster that deserves to be painted green and light green is Raptor of Cedar Point.
Swoosh Posted April 22, 2007 Author Posted April 22, 2007 The two tone blue color scheme of Infusion is pretty -- but it still doesn't hide the fact it is a SLC
