xascher Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 I think this is the right forum to put this in, but anyway on to the topic. I recently convinced my tech ed teacher, to use NoLimits in his 8-9th grade classes. The catch was that I had to make a tutorial, and lesson plans, but anyway do any of you people have NoLimits at your school?
thrillrideseeker Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Hey congrats! I would love to have NL in my school, but the only program I use at school right now is AutoCAD 2007! ~Matthew
texashorns82492 Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Dude, you're so lucky. I'd actually want to go to school.
xascher Posted April 7, 2007 Author Posted April 7, 2007 It is nice, just try to persuade your physics teacher, or tech teacher, depending on what program you have. (I'm stuck with Utah, Alpine FUBAR district ) But holy freaking crap, It's extremely hard to explain how the system works, so I'm just gonna use a projector and work on the program for a bit to show how it works, (this is after making 80 Power Points with failure). Also anyone have some lesson plan ideas, I have to come up with some for the class and I need ideas. PS: please have simple ideas, everyone in my class is ADHD, i swear it
Eric_Smith Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 You might want to ask but I belive that this should be one of the first things you show.(the tutorial)www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=352234&highlight=#352234
BiCoastal Kid Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 They've used NoLimits in my school for the past year or two in the technology and drafting classes. It's pretty sweet. It's also hilarious to see how bad everybody is. Except, my friend did make an 8-mile ride that nearly crashed the computer.
Golfie Posted April 9, 2007 Posted April 9, 2007 Hey congrats! I would love to have NL in my school, but the only program I use at school right now is AutoCAD 2007!~Matthew AutoCAD > NoLimits At least your school can afford AutoCAD... well, I shouldn't be talking. I'll be using it in my engineering class next year.

Vekoma Fan Boy Posted April 9, 2007 Posted April 9, 2007 I'm going to speak to my tech ed teacher and the other two in my school about NL I think mine will spring for it becase it's a good way to get a bunch of "ignorant" kids to learn...jackass
xascher Posted April 10, 2007 Author Posted April 10, 2007 I'm going to speak to my tech ed teacher and the other two in my school about NL I think mine will spring for it becase it's a good way to get a bunch of "ignorant" kids to learn...jackass That's almost like how I got my tech ed teacher to get interested. After he saw one of the Zest trailers I made, he got interested, sooooooooooooo I told him about the program and BOOM!!!!... One problem is that not even the 9th graders have the potential to make a decent project, without having "Dude Wars" about who can have the wickedest sickenest blah, blah, bladeblah... ADD is a virus at my school.
