Schmoofy Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 I purchased a Sony DCR-DVD 105 Handycam last year in the fall. I had no real use for it back then, but am starting to find use for it now. I intend to use it during our Disney vacation this year. I was wondering, however, what editing program I should use to make videos. The program that came with it (Nero) isn't that great, and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a beginner in the camcorder field. Thanks!
benzo41190 Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 "Adobe premier" is good for pros but is very expensive. $100+ A good beginner software is "Pinnacle Studio". Or you can always start off with "Windows Movie Maker" but the quality isnt that good when using effects.
spaceace12 Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Adobe also has a free one. I think it is called "free dv" or something.
ChrisZer0 Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Premiere is a decent product, but it'll cost over $799 for the full version of CS3. If you're getting started, id try using windows movie maker, of if you're a mac junkie, final cut.
mcjaco Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 This has been asked quite a few times. Do a search, or check this thread out: Editing software thread
