Hilltopper39
Friday May 6th I took my last final and headed up to Louisville to meet my dad and brother for the Kentucky Oaks. After the races were over and we got an awesome meal at the King Fish I noticed it was about 7:40, and SFKK was stil open for another hour. Since my buddies wouldn;t be up for the Derby till around 11:00 that night I decided to head over SFKK for an hour of fun. There were a bunch of school groups goin iun and out and I managed to get in for an hour at a 'slightly discounted' price ( hehehe). So once I cleared the starting gates I sprinted over to greased Lightning and caught 3 rides in a row, mostly back car. What a great coaster, g's in the loop are amazing, and the negatives in the spike are equally as good. From there I hopped on the Road Runner's Revenge for a quick spin, good mouse but not as smooth as it was a few years ago. Aging a little rough. From there I ran over to Thunder Run and in my sober stupor accidnetly ran up the exit ramp. Thr ride op was cool and the station was empty so I got my front seat ride anyway. WOW that thing blew me away from the last time I rode it, tracking really well with great air time in the front seat at 3 or 4 different spots. From there I sprinted over to T^2 because I didn't think I had enough time to make it back to the Twins and back to Chang before park closing. Hopped on T^2, it's an SLC, it was actualy running smoother that I remembered last time, but whatever. With about 12 minuted till the park closed I headed over to Chang and got 3 rides in a row which included the last ride of the night. Still a great standup looper, smooth, forcefull, fast B&M fun. Next time anyone rides a B&M stand up try to sit down as low as possible on your seat and make it almsot like a sit down, a B&M half ass squat coaster haha. It's an intersting way to experience the ride. Well by the time I got off Chang I headed out of the park around 9:10 and headed off to get drunk before the 131st Kentucky Derby the following day, but thats how I conquered Kentucky Kingdom in 1 hour

CoasterG
Yea! Quake is dead, long live Quake! (In some parks graveyard!) What a misbegotten ride, they should've sprang for a real Top Spin.
