Hi,

 

This is my first NL recreation. I chose Xcelerator because it is relitevly short, and still exiting. The track and supports are all hand made, and i know the the support on the top hat (comming down) isn't perfect, but the rest of the track is quite accurate.

i think the top hat is kinda bit bigger than actual KBF's. i've found the

supports for top hat were bit wrong too.

I agree the tophat looks a little big(not tall...wide)I've never riden Xcelerator, but I'm pretty sure it launches right from the station.

Your entire layout is too spread out, and low. The last top hat is rather tight and a good 50 feet in the air to begin with.

It's a good attempt but as other have pointed out, its kinda flawed. First, there is no support that spans from the two towers under the tophat: http://www.rcdb.com/ig1574.htm?picture=5 and the layout is spread out a little bit in your design http://www.rcdb.com/ig1574.htm?picture=14.

^Just to tell you that, that support is there. Later after built they had some structure problems and added that support between the two supports.

 

And yes very good attempt but that top hat just looks extremely weird because its very wide.
