I've been online trying to plan my summer trip and noticed it was cheaper to buy a season pass at $79.99 than passes for two days at SFGAm (totaling about $90). Upon seeing this I immediately decided to look for more parks I could go to and noticed that SFKK was only $49.99 for season passes. Do I have to get a pass from SFGAm since it's the closest to my home and thus could be considered my home park, or could I get one from SFKK instead. My current plan has me hitting up both parks this summer.

You can get your Six Flags Pass from any park in the country. Just keep in mind you have to go to the park you bought it from FIRST...before any other Six Flags park to get it processed.

The other thing to keep in mind is that you'll get a value book from whatever park you buy it at. It would suck to buy your pass and get coupons for SFKK if you're only going to go there once and SFGAm 20 times! See what I mean?

I was already planning on going to SFKK first. SFGAm while being the closest to me is still over 5 hours away so I don't see me going there very often either. My question now is what's in the value book? I'll probably only spend one day at SFKK since I'd rather spend the time at Holiday World while I'm in the area. I'll probably spend 2 or 3 days at SFGAm. Is there enough in that book to make up the cost difference?

^Most likely not.

Each of the value books is usually pretty different. Most of the coupons are pointless. Here are the 'usable' ones from the SFMM Value Book for an idea:

- One Free Parking

- Four Free Adult Admissions (one good for early in the year, two for holidays, one for late in the year)

- One Free Child Admission

- One Free Admission to Hurricane Harbor

Thanks for the help Elissa. Looks like I'll be better off getting the passes to SFKK if there is nothing worthwhile in those books.
