Dixie Landing/Blue Bayou new coaster?

Dixie Landin' is getting a Maurer Sohne Spinning Coaster for the 2007 season. I believe the actual model is the Xtended SC 2000. It will be the 4th installment in the U.S. and our 3rd coaster.

^ I'm not really familiar with Dixie landing. Could you explain a little about it.

 

Ive ridden the extended 200 type ride at Lagoon and its really fun and is cool that a big time ride is going to a small time park (i think).

 

Yah, new coasters seem to sprout up everyday, along with ones being ruined.

^It is a water park/amusement park park. The rides were added around 200 when a nearby park closed. From photos I've seen, it looks like a "Let's put some rides in that field." kind of park. It is nice to see this park get a good spinning coaster and not one of those horrible Zamperla ones.

I've only been on one spinning Maurer Sohne, and it was AMAZING.

There's really not much to it. Blue Bayou is the water park which has been there since the mid to late 80's, and Dixie Landin' was added a few years ago. I've been to Blue Bayou, but not Dixie Landin. This new spinning coaster could give me a reason to go next summer.
