ahh, christmas

The time for giving, the time for love and the time for stuffing your face with Turkey!!

I love christmas, I mean come on! Name me another celebration (Apart Form Bdays and thanksgiving[if your american]) Where you get stuff for free and eat scrummy food and indulge yourself with chocolate all day!

So this is the general generic christmas themed topic. So come on! Tell us all! What do you do fo christmas, how big is your turkey, do you celebrate with family? Do you celebrate in a holy or non-holy way? When do you put up your tree? Are you as exited as me??

So Come on, get into the christmas spirit!!

LOL!

I Love christmas, it's a great time to just appreciate and enjoy life. We alreadys set up our christmas tree (fake ) We usually have denver omlettes or eggs benedict for christmas morning. And in Cali, where all my relatives are, we'd have TONS of ham. Cuz we'd got to my gram's for lunch and go to my othre grandparent's house for dinner! It was awesome.

It's so cool that we're celebrating the birth of christ, I always thought it'd be cool if we celebrated his birth like one of our birthdays and had cake and stuff! But I don't think it could be any better than the way we celebrate christmas!

Ho-Ho-Ho! Merry Christmas!!

On my mom's side of the family, we always have pizza for Christmas Eve dinner. It started back when all the grandkids were little, and we were all "PRESENTS PRESENT PRESENTS!!!!" as soon as we got done eating. Since we never wanted to wait for the dishes to be cleaned after dinner, one year my grandparents decided to just order pizza and get styrofoam plates and cups, that way everything could just go straight into the trash when we were done. Everyone loved it, so we've done it every year since. We also always have Gooey Cake for dessert (make a German chocolate cake, poke holes in it with your fingers, then fill the holes with caramel sauce, cover the whole thing with whipped cream and crushed Heath bars, and chill).

I never realized how strange others think it is to have pizza on Christmas until recently.

^^ My family used to always get pizza during Christmas. I remember because it'd always be Noble Romans which we don't have in Canada.

But that was back when my entire family still went down to the US to have Christmas with our extended family. Since my siblings and I have gotten older that doesn't happen anymore.
