PS3 Violence

This guy was selling a two PS3's on the internet for $5,000 and this one dude bought it. Around 1:30 last night the guy who bought them came to pick it up

by some Mcdonalds but he pepper sprayed the guy who sold them to him. Then stole the PS3's. Luckly they caught the guy somtime this morning. My question is why are

people going crazy over the PS3?

Some people do some pretty stupid things for objects. But, what I find wierd is that when the Xbox 360 came out, there was no violence. But, when the PS3 comes out, there is an outbreak of fights. Beats me why people are so crazy for game systems.

What can I say? The PS3 is expensive and very fun. People do act like crazy maniacs to get it though.

There wasn't any issues with the Wii, though the demand's not as high as PS3...We did, however, experience some Sony/Microsoft fanboys doing random shout-outs as well as non gamer general public...It's amazing how stupid people can get over a console. I'm just glad the Wii didn't experience any issues...especially our campout as things were quiet for most of it.

Wasn't it just as crazy if not more crazy for the PS2 when it came out? This is not surprising.

I agree with what you said except the fun part. I played a PS3 and I thought it sucked. But that's just my opinion.
