Worm Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Sorry its not the real Beast, its just inspired by. I've NEVER seen the layout of Beast or SoB. So this was mearily about hearing that beast was a awesome terrain coaster! STATS: 183ft tall Lift 154ft Drop Lots of turns, including a airtime hill and a ...'schocking'... tunnel. MCBR More turns! Tunnel Airtime hill(s) Brake run! This is a terrain coaster, so yeah, enjoy! Definalty not my best coaster ever, but i decided that i need to share this with y'all!! ALSO: it may not be the smoothest and you can only ride if supports don't hurt you! Beast.zip Please ride and try to enjoy your ride! Weee!! The drop into the valley
NitroRider Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 That was great! I love it! Edit: 300 posts!
Worm Posted November 5, 2006 Author Posted November 5, 2006 Not the response i was expecting!!! I was expecting ppl to say "it has pumping, its rough, it hits supports" you know all that kind of stuff some NL snobs say! Thanx for not saying that
NitroRider Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Well I'm not an NL snob. I only got the game a month ago and I have only made one actually livaeable coaster so far! (you might be seeing it here soon)
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Not the response i was expecting!!! I was expecting ppl to say "it has pumping, its rough, it hits supports" you know all that kind of stuff some NL snobs say! Thanx for not saying that HOW THE HELL DOES THIS THING PUMP?! And are you sure the shocks are on? It was totaly AWESOME! I was creative, original, and brought out the spirit of NL, (You can do whatever the fudge you want without worrying about money, people, lawsuits.)
BiCoastal Kid Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 I'll just get the trackwork out of the way. It does pump, and there were some jerks in it, but overall it was fairly smooth. Maybe the tracksmoother could have helped a couple parts. I noticed you AHG's one part, which is okay but you should REALLY avoid tranfering from AHg-track to non-AHG-track on any type of 3d curve. Also, there was a part where the supports came up through the track. I didn't check, but this either due to you banking that after you supported, or using the relroll feature. WoodMagic doesnt recognize comparative banking on relroll sections so it wont bank to the correct numbers there. There were other bad collisions around the course that could have ben easily avoided. Other than that I did really enjoy the layout! It was fast, fun, unpredicatable, and the tunnels(although with the terrain through them ) really added to that. The drop of the brakes was really fun and the pace stayed up even after that being braked so heavily. The actual expericane of the ride is really great, it's just the technical aspects that need a lot of work. other than that I would just comment on the terrain which I think is a bit extreme and COULD be done a bit more realistically by just lowering the surrounding terrain some.
Worm Posted November 6, 2006 Author Posted November 6, 2006 yeah, then thats why this ismore of an fantasy coaster! i know about the support hits and all that, but i just thought i should share the layout! thats all!
