smallish
Download The water slides coming out of tiki statues kinda inspired me to make them for RCT3. The texture still needs work (because you can barely see the eyes and nose), but it's coming along nicely. This could be the start of a waterpark pack, now that my modeling skills have improved. smallish
^Wings 3D Does anyone happen to know how to unweld vertices in Wings 3D? I'm thinking about making this rope but for the rope I'll probably need to use alpha textures, which I know nothing about.

To make one, you make a texture that you want on the model as you normally would, Then you need to make another texture In black and white.. E.G... This would be the normal texture that I would map the model with And this would be the alpha texture So black turns up transparent and white Is solid. Hope that helps Dan
smallish
^I think I get that part of it, but I'll need to find a tutorial on how to make one in Wings 3D. I went ahead and created a non alpha buoy, and it looks pretty good. I still need to unweld the vertices on the rope (because of the weird lighting), lower both the rope and buoy (because water level is lower than ground level), and resize the buoy. I've given up on unwelding the vertices in Wings, so I'm going to try to do it on Blender. I've also been trying t create tikis that fit the wide slide and the body slide, but it's hard. The lovely buoy.

smallish
^Yes, which makes them somewhat useless. And if I turn on collision detection you won't be able to place them. Sorry, they're for show only.
thefitness
It's cool. It's not like in real life people couldn't swim over or under the ropes. Keep up the good work
smallish
UPDATE: Okay, I was kinda wanting to try alpha textures out, and making a standard ceiling speaker was a good model to try it on. Sadly, it didn't work, and I used a texture OVL and everything! Can anyone tell me what went wrong? In game image_map.bmp The alpha texture image.bmp the regular texture

smallish
Update: I plan on making 2D alpha texture objects to place on the new walls to decorate them, like palm trees, beach balls, etc. If you have any pictures I could use for an object, please post! The star of the update! This is to close up the back of slide stations. Do you think I should keep this in the set? Final speaker (and it actually is a working speaker)
DarkMeasures
You should make a wavepook piece that will allow pools to be wavepool shaped.
smallish
I just realized that I forgot to include a wall piece in my last update. You might notice that the walls are not quite in the right positions right now, like in the middle of paths and stuff. That will be fixed. The wave!
