Calaway Park
I personally think this is the most amazing coaster of mine, one inversion, one overbanked turn, one 79* banked helix, one 70 MPH launch and tonnes of terrain forming and folliage. I actually was inspired by Golfie's "Gallium." Check it out here: [Video] http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29534 [Construction Thread] http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29227&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=10 _______________________________________________________________ Hope you enjoy the ride! ULTIMATEforce® Woah, head rush.™ Some of the layout. A lot is hidden by trees and terrain though. [Hey, I don't wan't to give it all away do I?] ....no. HEADCHOPPERS! These make for a close miss feeling by starting out large and farther apart, then ending close together and shorter. I think that it's very pretty. Calaway Park
Well, what do you think? Fifteen downloads and not one reply huh?
Golfie
I'm flattered Calaway, really. The layout was neat, however, there are a few improvements that could be done IMO: 1. The entire course is very slow. Perhaps upping the speed about 10MPH would make it more enjoyable? 2. The banking was oddly timed. On some turns, you banked the track too late, other times, you did it too early; for example, in the final turn, the banking started out way too early. 3. The heartline roll would be cooler if it was taken more quickly. 4. The turn before the tunnel was overbanked, creating high laterals. However, I admire the parabollic hill after the first turn. That was amazing! Did you use elementary for it? Anyways, you did a great job. If you fix those few things, the ride will improve a LOT more! Andrew "Gallum-gallum-gallium-gee" C. Gallium is amazing! 1. I'll try that. It wasn't -really- slow but I guess I could quicken it a bit. 2.Yeah, I know about that. I tried to fix it in most areas but my god.. it seems impossible! 3. It's supposed to be overbanked 4. No elementary. The only think I used elementary for was the helix. Thanks
coasterlover420
However, I admire the parabollic hill after the first turn. That was amazing! Did you use elementary for it? I do believe the Purg. is a much better way of making Parabolas... I agree with all that Golfie said and... 1. I'd fix the banks with a simple press of the Y button for more presice editing. 2. The station is WAAAAY too long for a 6 car train. 3. If you're going to have a launch, start it right away in the station, not after the train gets out of the station. (I know Maverick may be a exception, but the train on Maverick will have already been moving by the time it launches.)

I never used purg nor elementary for the parabola, I just made it by editing nodes... I fixed up the track a bit, shorter station, out-of-station launch, much better banking, faster barrel roll, faster launch and a much less "banked" over-banked turn. Golfie
2.Yeah, I know about that. I tried to fix it in most areas but my god.. it seems impossible! It used to happen to me. Turn this into a habit: •Make sure each banked turn goes as follows: -Straight segment (to bank in) -Turn -Straight segment (to flatten out) On a special occasion (i.e. Some types of overbanked turns), you can just make the turn oblong which wouldn't require a straight bank in. •If you aren't confident with the AHG yet, click on Display > Heartline; when looking at the track from the top view, try to keep the yellow center line straight (the heartline). This is called "heartlining" which removes a lot of lateral G's when going into the banking.

coasterfan200692
There was so WAY too much banking on that one curve. It was almost like it was upside down and it wasn't going that fast.

coasterlover420
^^I meant to have the launch from a dead standstill, so they are not exceptions!
