Today, Sept. 16th, the 2007 Early Bird Season Pass deal started Click here for link, so I went online to order mine for $74.99 each as stated in the email.

Well, the website was not updated yet to accept 2007 season pass orders, but it did say the early bird passes went on sale today for $79.99! Now, how could they already raise the price before the passes even went on sale.

AND, isn't that some sort of false advertising saying they're going to cost $74.99, and then when the day finally gets here, jacking the price up to $79.99 without notice!!!???

I need your help TPR! What can we do? R&E, Derek, Wes, anyone? I don't think SF should be able to get away with this!!!

If this is any indication of how the 2007 season will be, then it will make me want to visit the park even less next year. I know it's only $5 but it's the principle.

Exactly!!! It just really pissed me off that they would do something like that even before they went on sale! Total false advertising!

Very bad form, Six Flags!!!

G "I will get my Season Pass for $74.99" Money

Or you could just buy X amount of single-day tickets at $60... your choice.

BTW that email was sent in early August, I see no problem in them raising the rates since then. Things change, oh well - you lose.... $5/

I have gotten 3 emails in the course of this past week.

I wouldn't really worry about it - $79.99 is a damn good price anyway. It sure beats the 100 or more that it will be when the Early Bird stuff is over.

^Joe - I think you are wrong about when the e-mail was sent, i only got it this morning

I figured it was sent in August since they were advertising a concert in August, and because the email has "SFGA_2006-08.2" in the url... if thats just a random coincidence then ok I am wrong... still not bad

Neither price includes tax, but that is besides the point. There is nothing to complain about here. I could see complaining about something like 20 dollars, but even then the pass would pay for itself in 2 visits. Why complain about $79.99 when you are going to be going to Great Adventure most of the time, a place where the gate price is $60? And I'm sure that gmoney is planning on hitting up other Six Flags establishments throughout the course of next season (sorry if I'm wrong on that), but still, just going twice is more than worth it. Not to mention, there is a coupon booklet and a couple of season passholder events along the way.

A 5 dollar hike in price on a candy bar is something to complain about - this is not.

I don't know if you could get the passes back in August or not (quite frankly, I'm not even sure if I'm going to buy a SF pass for next year just because I doubt I'll go more than twice to any SF park, though I'll wait until more new rides information is released) butr the 74.99 price, that probably would have included some retarded $5 processing fee for online purchase or shipping or a convenience fee or some other way to milk you of that $5. If you're gonna get the pass, grab it now for 79.99 before they decide to up the price again in October!

Just look what happened with Kings Island releasing pass info and then changing their minds!
