therooboy
I am off to Tokyo for the first time in a week and i still can't decide out of Tokyo Disney or Disney At Sea which i should spend the entire day at,while the other we must leave around 530 to attend a concert. I prefer exciting or original rides most, far more than shows. I am also going to both California Disneys a few weeks later. I only want to spend the entire day, open to close at DAS if it has enough rides to keep me entertained the entire day (something i know TD will definitely do). I don't mind requeueing for repeat rides of the great ones I also want to experience the other things that make Disney great parks but does DAS have enough for a 12 hour visit.Would i be able to really see all DAS in 8 hours and go on all the big rides twice? Thanks
ECZenith
I have not been to Japan but from what I hear, Disney SEA is the best Disney park ever created and has lots of heavily detailed thrill rides and incredible scenery overall. I would go there instead considering you'll be able to spend some time at the original Disneyland in Anaheim.
Adriel
I've been the there once. Tokyo DisneySea is absolutely yhe choise! The park has some very great original rides. The most popular by far is Journey to the Center of the Earth. I never go in September, but according to my trip, July isn't so packed, so you can ride an attraction back-to-back even without FastPass. Also they have just opened the only-kind Tower of Terror. Be careful, this is new so maybe it will be packed. Another great attraction is Raging Spirits. I wanna ride it next year. The only thing that's original in Tokyo Disneyland is Pooh's Hunny Hunt which uses the GPS system means no track and random movement. But don't worry, DisneySea has one called Aquatopia. captain
I visited both parks for a couple of days in april and I would choose Tokyo Disney Sea for the whole day experience and the Disneyland for the second day - why? Disney Sea is one of a kind and Disneyland isn`t. You can do a lot of unique things in Disney Sea, like Journey to the Center..., 20.00 Leagues under, Auqatopia, storm chaser (I can `t remember if it`s the right name) and Sindbad. Also you got those great Trhill Rides Tower of Terror, Indy (Anaheim Version) and Raging Spirits (Indy Paris Version with more theming). So Yes, it`s a lot to do here. But if the park isn`t packed you might have enough time to ride some attractions twice or more. You said you`re not in shows - but don`t miss the nighttime show in the lagoon - it`s really great. By the way, you can do more rides in Disneyland and you might need more time to do everything in Disneyland, but Disney Sea is this unique park. Have Fun in Tokyo Andy
therooboy
We will going to Disney At Sea the longer day, thanks guys for your input. With so many unique things at Disney At Sea it will definitely work out more worthwhile, what was i thinking...now i just have to re arrange my California Adventure visit day as California Screamin is closed the 3 days we are staying in Anaheim.I'd rather drive from LA on the weekend when its open. heres my park list for the coming 4 weeks:- TOKYO Sega Joypolis LaQua ( Tokyo Dome) Fuji Q Highland Tokyo Disney Disney At Sea N CALIFORNIA Six Flags Marine World Paramounts Great America Santa Cruz Boardwalk LAS VEGAS Everything! S CALIFORNIA Six Flags Magic Mountain Disneyland Knotts Berry Farm Disneys California Adventure Universal Studios Hollywood & a maybe Sea World San Diego Have i missed any thing out major,i only have one spare day in Tokyo ,which may be "Steel Dragon 2000 "day.Maybe that day would be better at a closer park like Yomiurland? Also two days spare in both North California (weekdays only) and in Southern California. Can't wait,at least 25 - 30 new coasters for me to ride on this trip (my current coaster count is 148) Then there are all the other great rides . Happy chappy i am. ChrisFL
Also you got those great Trhill Rides Tower of Terror, Indy (Anaheim Version) and Raging Spirits (Indy Paris Version with more theming). I thought the Tokyo Indy was different than Anaheim
SharkTums
I'm pretty sure it's the same exact layout (not a mirror like Dinosaur) with 2 different effects.
Gnome
Pfff, screw DisneySeas! Long Live WestCot!!!! I can experience it daily within my dreams.... for FREE!!! But seriously, have fun. It looks like an awsome park, I just wish that DLR's second gate wasn't destroyed by Disney's neighbors. (I've been reading very much into failed Disney installations, lately, so excuse the melodramatics of my post)
