Waterpark101 Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 This coaster is part of a best of the best project I hope to start up. URL=http://img132.imageshack.us/my.php?image=p51060825212539000me8.png][/url] P-51.nltrack
Golfie Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 I liked the layout, but IMO, the inversions are all taken too slowly. I loved your support work, but at some points, you DID go overboard with too many of them. Finally, some of the elements are jerky and not smooth. I don't know if you were trying to do this, but it's rather distracting. I DID, however, love the layout and overall idea. Nice job! Andrew C.
Waterpark101 Posted August 26, 2006 Author Posted August 26, 2006 Cool thanks I couldn't perfect some of the jerks and with the flanges and supports I didn't want to lower inversions.
CP_RULES Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 First of all, I would like to congratulate you for building the second tallest B&M invert in the world. Many coasters are very difficult to deal with when you have so much speed, and I think you handled it fairly well. Ill start with good things. The airtime hills were very cool and the weightlessness created by the loop was unbeatable. The supports looked great, but as said earlier there might have been too many. Now onto the bad. I dont know why you used three trains when the track has no MCBR, two would be sufficient. The track was fairly smooth until you got to the first air-time hill, then it became pretty rough. I think the loop had good speed through it because it produced awesome hang-time, but the cobra roll needs to be lower. I also dont think it would pass tunnel test. Now I know that sounds like a lot of bad, but I dont want you to think this is a bad track. Most of the things that are wrong with it are fairly easy fixes. Overall the track was strong, and it certainly got my heart pumping, but it still needs work. Never give up.
165loops Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 I think this was a great coaster, the Cobra Roll seemed a little slow but hey great hang time. The overall ride was pretty smooth however I agree with CP_RULES that some parts were rough but it was way better than my B&M floorless I posted few days ago. Keep up the good work
Blazen_AZN Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 I think the loop had good speed through it because it produced awesome hang-time You just contradcted yourself there...

Satoshi Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 some tracks are kinda like silver bullet at knott berry farm and the loops are lookin' good but sorta havin' not enough speed in the top of the cobra roll since its g force can be read -0.4g'z. yeah too low for g forces in one loop.
