FIRE!

Well, thanks to my new digital camera, I was able to take a picture of something that made national news!

 

 

...Sort of.

 

Basically, there's a quite big recycling plant fire about 40 km west-southwest of here.

The smoke seemed to be blown up to 50 km west... (left-ish, for the camera's eye).

I grew up in St. Thomas - there is nothing west of Chatham - that's why we did not hear about it.

You either mean east of Chatham, or you've insulted Essex County.

 

It was on Canada Now on CBC, though, and that one guy broadcasts from Vancouver. Hanimensing or something.

Har, har. I've only gone to Amherstburg once. Let me tell you, not a whole lot goin' on.

 

And no, I didn't go for the first time when that fire happened.
