This bit of art is confirmed to be a promotional image for the Nintendo Wii's virtual console. Which will include a number of old Nintendo, SEGA, Square-Enix, Namco, and Capcom games.

 

If you don't think of that as one of the awesomest bits of video game art ever. Similar to that Virgin art that had 72 bands illustrated. Basically, Video game characters paroding other games (ex. Pac-Man mimicing Racoon Mario from SMB3). A little time waster and this bit of art became my new desktop;

For the SEGA fanatics.

Dynamite Dux, a bird that threw bombs. For the Sonic fans in here, he was the inspiration for Bean in the game Sonic Fighters.

Alex Kidd- SEGA's mascot before Sonic the Hedgehog took over. He was some monkey dude...
