Do any of you guys or girls know if Xcelerator is open during the costruction by it? If its not do you think it will be open by the 5th?

And also, that pic of the new Perilious Plunge boats scared me! I thought they were on Xcelerator! Restraints like that would definately make it a little less thrilling. I love those Intamin T-bars!

Thats what used to be there. I dont see how it would affect the operation of Xcel since it isnt in the lockout zone...

I think that's old, i dont remeber seeing things like that around it. Then again I never went over there. I dont think something like that would affect whether it works or not. If your going to Knott's, Enjoy your trip!

The new boats are great, you get the same if not more airtime than Xcelerator.

and less splash to, which isn't bad, imo, because you got to wet on Perilous plunge anyways. As for construction on Xcelerator, I find it very odd that they didn't do it during the off season, instead of peak season. But w/e floats thier boat, I guess.

They're building a 3 Point Challenge next to xcelerator.

^It's a basketball style game that CedarFair has installed at Cedar Point, Geauga Lake, Kings Island, and Worlds of Fun.

It costs $5 to play. The object of the game is to make as many 3 pointers as possible in 60 seconds(I think). As you make more baskets the prizes get better. They range from stuffed animals and giant basketballs to Basketball Jerseys and Ipod's.

 

They're big money makers and there's always a line to play. I belive somone that works at Worlds of Fun said the first day it was open they made $1,000.

^Your right I was there yesterday And Thats what ther building.Xcelerator was so rough while GhostRider, Backcar, row 1 ,was smooth.

^Becuase it's smoother than even riding 1 row In front of it(I ride the back hands up having fun, I ride car six screaming in pain, even my friends say the same thing).
